Kola Ajose Jiu-Jitsu Academy Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Kola Ajose Jiu-Jitsu Academy uses information through kolaajosejiujitsu.com, including trial requests, online agreements, enrollment and family access.

Information we collect

We collect information you submit, such as participant and guardian names, date of birth, contact details, program preferences, requested classes, experience and messages to Coach. Agreement records include signing declarations, emergency contacts, electronic signatures, consent, document versions and signing dates. Academy records may include attendance, enrollment, household relationships and competition information. Features that accept photos or other files collect the material you choose to submit.

Google account data: access and collection

When you choose Google sign-in, Google and our authentication provider, Supabase, provide an account identifier, email address and basic profile information, which may include your name and profile picture. We use this information to authenticate you, connect your trial or academy records and manage access. Google sign-in does not by itself establish guardianship or permission to sign for another person. The website’s sign-in flow does not request access to your Gmail inbox, Google Drive or contacts. We do not receive your Google password.

Google account data: use, storage and sharing

Supabase receives Google sign-in information and maintains the account record, including the account identifier, email and available basic profile metadata. The academy uses the identifier and verified email to associate a signed-in account with an authorized trial, participant or household. Account and academy records are stored in the academy’s Supabase project; retained database backups may include these records. Authentication credentials and session cookies support your signed-in session. Private records are subject to account, household and staff access controls.

We use Google account data only to provide and secure the academy’s account features, identify the account connected to a request, and support related academy communications. We do not sell Google account data, use it for targeted advertising, or use it to train artificial-intelligence models. We do not request Google account access to create or generate images. Our website does not use Google APIs to create AI-generated non-consensual intimate imagery.

Google account information is processed by Google and Supabase during authentication and by our hosting and backup providers as necessary to operate the service. Authorized academy staff can use the connected account’s email and identity information for support and record review. We do not publish your Google account profile or share it with unrelated advertisers. Other disclosures are limited to providing the service, your authorization, or applicable legal and security needs described below.

How we use information you submit

We use information to process trial requests, arrange classes, review signing relationships, retain signed agreements, manage attendance and enrollment, provide family and member features, respond to questions and send related operational emails. Technical records and authentication cookies support sign-in, access controls, troubleshooting and security.

Who receives information

Authorized academy staff access information needed for their work. Connected family access is limited by the academy’s account and household permissions. We use service providers including Supabase for authentication, database and storage, Netlify for website hosting, Google/Gmail for sign-in and email delivery, and restricted Google Drive storage for academy backups. These services process information needed to provide their functions under their own terms and privacy policies.

Photos and media permissions are addressed in the separately identified Conduct/Media agreement and any applicable feature permission. A trial request or Google sign-in alone is not permission to publish a participant’s information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or to address security, safety or legal claims.

Children and guardians

A parent or legal guardian should submit and manage requests and agreements for a minor. We use the child’s information to provide academy services and review the guardian’s signing relationship. Contact us if a child’s information was submitted without appropriate authority.

Retention, correction and deletion

Google account records are retained while the account is used for academy services or linked to records that the academy needs to retain. Trial, enrollment and signed-agreement records may remain after an account stops being used. Backup copies may retain earlier versions of records and are managed separately from the live database. Revoking Google access prevents future authorized sign-in access through that connection; it does not erase information already stored.

To request account deletion or correction, email kabjjhercules@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy request,” identify the sign-in email and describe the request. Do not email passwords or identity-document numbers. We may ask you to confirm account control or authority over the participant’s information before acting. We will explain any records we must retain and any limitation on deleting backup or signed-agreement evidence.

We retain information for academy administration, signed-agreement evidence, security, backups and applicable legal requirements. To request access, correction or deletion, contact the academy. We review requests and may need to retain some records, including signed agreements and related audit records, for legal or administrative reasons. Removing access to Google sign-in does not automatically delete academy records or backup copies.

Google API data policy

Kola Ajose Jiu-Jitsu Academy’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable.

Your choices

You may contact the academy about your information or stop using online features. You can revoke Google sign-in access in your Google Account settings. Essential sign-in cookies are used for authenticated features; disabling them may prevent those features from working.
